Akron Area Candidates Night for 2017 Election
"Meet the Board of Education, Clerk of Courts, and Judicial Candidates for
the 2017 General Election”
Akron, OH - The League of Women Voters of the Akron Area, in partnership
with the Akron Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the
Akron Branch NAACP, will hold a Candidates Night for the Akron Municipal
Clerk of Courts, the Akron Municipal Court Judges and the Akron Public
Schools Board of Education candidates.
The event
will be held at the American Red Cross building located at 501 West Market
Street on Tuesday, October 17 from 6:00-9:00 pm. After opening remarks, the
Clerk of Courts and Judicial candidates will appear until 7:15 pm. There
will be a 15-minute break, then the School Board candidates will be
addressing questions from 7:30-8:45 pm. The program will end at 9:00 pm.
The non-partisan host organizations do not endorse any candidate or party.
The event is free and open to the public. |
