Format:
Following brief introductions, the program will begin with a session
to familiarize voters with the judicial candidates for 9th District
Court of Appeals, Common Pleas, and Domestic Relations as well as
candidates for Summit County Council, Districts 1-8. The format enables an informal, more personal
interaction between voters and candidates. Voters will sit in groups
according to their county council districts and candidates will
circulate through small facilitated groups according to a timed
schedule. This session will last approximately an hour..
During the
second hour, candidates for countywide offices, including Summit
County Executive, Prosecutor, Sheriff, Clerk of Courts, Fiscal
Officer, Engineer, Sheriff, and Council-at Large will begin with
brief remarks and respond to screened questions from the audience in
a traditional format. This session will be approximately an hour and
a half long.
Parking
Instructions:
Candidates
and visitors may enter the school’s Stow St. entrance from the
parking lot behind the school. Please turn right when entering the
school and follow signs to the library where the event begins.
There is disabled parking and entrance on Thomas Court. Overflow
parking is available in the Natatorium parking lot on 4th Street,
across the street from the school. |
